Bajaj has introduced the 2025 Pulsar NS400Z UG in India. The updated model brings a series of performance-focused enhancements and mechanical upgrades aimed at refining its on-road capabilities.
On the performance front, the Pulsar NS400Z UG retains its 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. However, output has been bumped up to 42.4 bhp from the earlier 39.5 bhp, while peak torque remains steady at 35 Nm. A six-speed gearbox continues to handle transmission duties, now aided by the addition of a bi-directional quickshifter for smoother, clutchless gear changes.
While the suspension setup remains unchanged—with 43 mm USD front forks and a rear monoshock—the overall ride dynamics benefit from the upgraded tyres and braking system. Bajaj has replaced the previous 140-section MRF rear tyre with a wider 150-section Apollo Alpha H1, offering better grip across varied conditions. The front tyre also switches to an Apollo H1 unit, maintaining its 110/70-R17 dimensions.
Braking performance has received a significant upgrade as well. The bike now comes equipped with sintered brake pads, replacing the older organic units. Bajaj claims a 7% reduction in stopping distance with this change, which should result in better bite, feedback, and resistance to brake fade.
The NS400Z UG continues to feature a full-color LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity, switchable traction control, dual-channel ABS, and four ride modes: Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road.
